The metals thin-film solar and power electronics run on.
Sunnyvale AG sources, certifies and moves the tellurium, indium, gallium, selenium and cadmium behind CdTe and CIGS solar cells, GaN power electronics and multi-junction photovoltaics — with Swiss documentation and audited counterparties.
Tellurium
CdTe solar · 4N min.
Cadmium
CdTe solar feedstock
Indium
CIGS solar · ITO
Gallium
CIGS solar · GaN power
Audited supply
Counterparties screened for origin, sanctions exposure and export-licence status before a first order.
Certified, financed
Purity verified against buyer specification. Payment terms structured against warehouse receipts, not open account.
Documented flow
Certificates of analysis, customs paperwork and Swiss trade documentation travel with every shipment.
Strategic materials for the energy transition
Every metal below has a direct application in solar photovoltaics or the power electronics the grid depends on. Bought from producers and refiners, certified, and resold — no manufacturing, no refining.
Tellurium
4N min.CdTe thin-film solar cells; bismuth telluride thermoelectric modules for waste-heat recovery.
Cadmium
On requestCdTe thin-film solar feedstock, paired directly with tellurium.
Indium
Ingot & ITO scrapCIGS thin-film solar; indium-tin-oxide (ITO) conductive layers in panels and displays.
Gallium
4N – 6NCIGS thin-film solar; gallium nitride (GaN) power electronics for grid inverters and EV chargers.
Selenium
On requestThe Se in copper-indium-gallium-selenide (CIGS) thin-film solar cells.
Germanium
Oxide & metalSubstrate wafers for multi-junction photovoltaic cells — concentrator and space-grade solar.
Bismuth
On requestBismuth telluride thermoelectric generators; pharmaceutical compounds.
Certificates of analysis
Every lotSpec-matched to buyer requirement; assay via retained accredited laboratories.
How a trade runs
Sunnyvale takes title to material from a screened producer or refiner, verifies purity against the buyer's specification, and structures payment on warehouse receipts or a documentary credit — not open account. We do not carry the material longer than the financing requires.
None of tellurium, indium, gallium or germanium trade on a public exchange. Every price is negotiated directly against Fastmarkets, Argus and Asian Metal assessments at the time of the order.
Solar-metals desk view
China's export-licensing regime on gallium and germanium, in place since August 2023 and extended to tellurium in February 2025, continues to set the tone for supply into European CdTe and CIGS solar manufacturing.
Equipment & project support
Alongside the metal itself, Sunnyvale sources the modules and inverters built from it — solar equipment procurement on request, coordinated with the same desk.

Compliance
Newly incorporated in Baar. Screening and documentation are built in from the first trade, not added after volume arrives.
Counterparty screening
Every new supplier and buyer is screened against EU, Swiss/SECO, US/OFAC and UK sanctions lists before a first commitment.
Licence tracking
China-origin export-licensing status is tracked on every sourced lot of gallium, germanium, indium and tellurium.
